SCIENCE
GSES4E2 Effects of the position and motion of Earth and the moon in relation to the sun, to include:
- Develop a model to support explanation of why the length of day and night change throughout the year.
- Develop a model based on observations to describe the repeating pattern of the phase of the moon (new, crescent, quarter, gibbous, and full)

We continue talking about the Earth's rotation and revolution. Students have made a model of the Sun, Earth, and moon. This will be a wonderful study tool for them for an upcoming formative assessment. PLEASE look over this model NIGHTLY!!!

We will also be studying the phases of the moon. Starting Wednesday, students will be asked to keep track of the moon each night for several weeks. A graphic organizer will be given to them in order to do this.
