TESTING DATES

May 1st: Milestones ELA Section 1 @ 8:00 am

May 3rd:  Milestones Math Section 1 @ 8:00 am

MATH
Block 1
We are finished with all math units for the year!!! We will review in class daily and weekly homework will be given as a review.

HOMEWORK:
NONE



Block 2
MD.1 - Relative units of measurement
MD.2 - Word problems using the four operations, to include distances, intervals of time, liquid volumes, mass, money, with fractions and decimals; also represent measurement using diagrams
MD.3 - Area and perimeter of rectangles
MD.4 - Use line plots containing fractions to +/- the fractions
MD.8 - Area

*We are working through our last unit during every segment of class this week!!! We will be reviewing past standards as well.

HOMEWORK:
NONE

SCIENCE
Both blocks have finished all units for science this year!  

Block 1
We will be working on 'passion projects' during our science block for the rest of the school year.  Math will also overlap into our science block as we continue to review for Milestones.

Block 2
We will be working on our final unit of the year during this time.  We will also be reviewing for Milestones.

HOMEWORK:

Social Studies
BLOCK 2 ONLY
SS4H6 - Effects of Reconstruction, to include:
Purpose of 3th, 14th, and 15th Amendments, Work of the Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen, and Abandoned Lands (Freedmen’s Bureau), Sharecropping replacing slavery, Freed African Americans or Blacks being prevented from exercising their newly won rights, and Effects of Jim Crow laws and practices.
